Job Summary:

We are currently looking for a skilled Saw Operator II to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating multi-blade saws, making angle cuts, and serving as the lead person for the saw operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure materials meet quality specifications before processing
  • Operate saw equipment according to set guidelines
  • Conduct regular equipment checks to maintain quality standards
  • Maintain a safe and organized work area
  • Complete necessary checklists and reports for equipment inspection
  • Adhere to safety procedures and quality standards
  • Collaborate with team members and forklift operators as needed
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks
  • Participate in safety and improvement programs

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED preferred
  • Minimum of 6 months experience with saws or similar equipment
  • Basic math skills and inventory knowledge required
  • Forklift driver licensing process completion if necessary
  • Manufacturing and assembly experience is a plus
