Introduction:
This position at McAuley High School aims to provide specialized support to 10 children with Social Emotional and Mental Health needs, ensuring they have access to a mainstream curriculum when suitable. The ideal candidate will lead a team working closely with mainstream teachers to tailor support, guidance, and curriculum to meet specific needs. Experience in SEMH settings or with struggling mainstream students is essential. The focus is on providing the best for SEMH children, with ample support, training, and collaboration opportunities.

Your Opportunity:

• Hold a Level 5-6 qualification
• Previous experience in SEMH, Social Care, or Mental Health
• GCSE Grade C or higher in mathematics or English
• Willingness to partake in regular training and development
• Proficient in SEND Code of Practice 0-25 years
• Leadership experience in supporting SEMH and Autism in educational settings
• Ability to motivate, lead, and inspire youth
• Demonstrate composure under pressure
• Committed to the academy's goals
