- recognized by the Washington Post as a Top Workplace - is seeking a qualified The System Integrator (SI) Team Lead to provide direction and guidance to the Integration Team members during development and work on assigned projects.

The Team Lead, will ensure the team members are aware of the requirements identified for a given project, they have the tools/skillset necessary to perform the integration & where applicable, distribution tasks, for the assigned project.

The Team Lead makes up part of the Project Management Team along with the other team leads, business manager and PM.


What You'll Do:

The Team Lead responsibilities include the following:

General Responsibilities:
Provide status of work performed into the identified tracking systems
Ensure management is kept fully aware of changing requirements
Comply with internal Tantus requirements as outlined in the Tantus Employee Handbook, i.e. Biweekly submissions, timesheet completion, etc.
Ensure that all team members are knowledgeable of the Tantus Commitment and that it is applied in every day duties
Conduct team status meetings and participate, if needed, in project specific meetings such as Project Kick-Off, Test Readiness Reviews, and Post Test Reviews to ensure readiness and determine projected completion dates
Utilize the designated tracking tools to record and report status of projects as they move thru their lifecycle as assigned to Tantus
Participate, if required, in on-demand conference calls such as Project Kick-Off, Test Readiness Reviews, Post Test Reviews to discuss the project andor any security related items, ensure readiness and determine projected completion dates
Monitor through the use of designated tracking tools the status of projects as they move thru the vulnerability assessment portion of the Integration phase of the certification process
Monitor progress of all projects assigned to the team members from receipt of the project from the project specialist / change manager until it is passed to testing
Ensure cross team collaboration is occurring as needed during a projects lifecycle
Ensure the PM is made aware of any deviations to scheduled completion dates as soon as the deviation is known
Provide input for the disaster recovery.
Documentation
Participate in the creation of supporting documentation required for assigned projects such as installation guides, configuration guides, unit test plans and other documentation identified as being required
Establish packaging standards, conventions and procedures for manual and automated (silent) deployment to CEC supported endpoints (servers and workstations)
Maintain and publish documentation describing software packaging standards and procedures
Review Unit Test Plans verifying the defined functional requirements for each hardware/software update/change
Review Installation guides to ensure proper installation of non-silent installations
Provide input to the Certification and Accreditation packages prepared by Security Policy Branch of the Infrastructure Operations on hardware/software supported by TMB and deployed to the CEC End Users
Provide input and final review of Certification Failure Form (CFF)
Provide input and final review of Testing Waiver (TW)
Provide input and final review of WAT Windows Firewall Change Request Form (FW)
Provide input and review of Newsflash or technical documents as needed.
Ensure documentation to assist in the management of the teams day to day activities is complete and updated as required
Attend the weekly TMB COR meeting to provide status on work assigned
Assist in the completion of required monthly deliverables for timely submission
Update Dashboard report with integration information.
Generate integration information for Weekly activity report (WAR).
Create PWS Deliverable #3 each month.
Assist with creation of 6 month self-assessment in preparation for CPAR.
Annual evaluations for personnel in functional area.
Team Growth/Mentorship
Provide feedback on submitted employee bi-weekly reports
Provide guidance and assistance to team members during the execution of their daily duties
Provide feedback on annual evaluations.
Conduct required counseling sessions and initiate paperwork to facilitate corrective actions
Participate in new employee interviews when required to assist in identifying replacement personnel
Encourage team growth and advancement through either the education reimbursement fund or internal training
