Job Description

  • Responsible for working tray line, assembling, and transporting food to patients.
  • Visit patients to obtain menus choices to provide high food service and nutrition to patients.
  • Responsible for stocking work area, cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work areas
  • Professional communication between the nursing units, patients, dietitians and Food and Nutrition Service Department
  • Provide excellent customer service.
Requirements

  • Must have ability to read, write, and follow written or verbal instructions.
  • Ability to push/pull more than 50lbs.
  • Able to lift objects more that 20lbs.
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
Preferred Requirements

  • Previous experience in institutional foods and customer service is preferred.
