About Us:

The Hog Wallow Pub is one of Salt Lake Valley's most unique bars, offering an extensive beer, liquor & wine list, along with great food, including house-smoked BBQ. With live music most nights of the week, we provide a lively and enjoyable atmosphere for our guests. As a Line Cook, you will have the opportunity to showcase your culinary skills and work alongside a talented kitchen staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
  • Prepare food for service, including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
  • Answer, report, and follow management instructions
  • Clean up station and take care of leftover food
  • Stock inventory appropriately
  • Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion
  • Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Requirements:
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • Works well as part of a team and on individual tasks
  • Previous experience as a cook or relevant work experience
  • Legally able to work in establishments that serve alcohol
