Job Summary:

Duties:

  • Approach individuals in public areas to explain and gather signatures for petitions
  • Utilize persuasive communication skills to encourage participation
  • Maintain accurate records of signatures collected
  • Distribute informational materials related to the petition
  • Work independently or as part of a team to achieve signature collection goals

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in sales, telemarketing, or customer service is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to negotiate effectively and handle objections
  • Bilingual proficiency is a plus
  • Experience with doortodoor canvassing or fundraising activities is beneficial
  • Knowledge of electioneering processes and regulations is advantageous
