Responsibilities

$20,000 Sign-on Bonus

As a GI Registered Nurse, your role will be vital in offering comprehensive care to patients with gastrointestinal disorders. Working alongside a diverse healthcare team, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. This position requires strong clinical knowledge, critical thinking, and the ability to provide personalized and compassionate care to patients and families.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare procedural suite for diagnostic, screening, and advanced procedures
  • Conduct initial patient assessments, including health history and physical exams
  • Assist providers with endoscopic instruments and devices during procedures
  • Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and respond to changes in patient condition
  • Accurately document patient information and maintain medical records
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and post-procedure care
  • Offer emotional support to patients during procedures or treatments
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans for patients with gastrointestinal disorders
  • Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment

Qualifications

We are seeking a responsible and caring Registered Nurse with excellent clinical skills and the ability to work independently. Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, and patient education capabilities are essential for this role.

Additional requirements include:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Previous experience as a Registered Nurse is beneficial
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Specialty certification such as CCRN, CNOR, CEN preferred
  • Additional certifications may be needed for specific areas

Pay Range

$48.58/hour
