Job Summary and Qualifications:

The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning for the care of a patient. The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for the planning, directing and provision of nursing care to patients in accordance with the NH Nurse Practice Act, recognized nursing techniques, and both clinical and administrative policies

  • Demonstrates ability to perform Phase I recovery
  • Demonstrates ability to perform Phase II recovery
  • Demonstrates ability to provide critical care nursing including hemodynamic monitoring, use of monitors, pumps, and ventilators as well as correctly administering medications
  • Performs assessment/reassessment in accordance with unit standards and/or patient condition.
  • Demonstrates ability to intervene when patient condition warrants, per department protocol.
  • Demonstrates "critical thinking" skills, in our acutely ill pediatric and adult patient, per unit protocol.
  • Provides for the privacy of patients/family

What qualifications you will need:

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
  • Registered Nurse, 13 years experience
  • Associate Degree
