The Virginia Department of Forensic Science is looking for a skilled candidate to carry out forensic biology work at the Northern Regional Laboratory in Manassas, Virginia. If you're into identifying blood and other body fluids, conducting DNA analysis using state-of-the-art methods, and helping the criminal justice system with your findings, you might be the person we're looking for
What You'll Do:
- Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, forensic science or related field
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a forensic DNA lab
- Expertise in forensic DNA analysis techniques
- Knowledge of laboratory safety and quality procedures
- Ability to testify in court
- Additional experience may include teaching forensic courses or conducting forensic training
