Job Summary:


The Accounts Receivable (A/R) Specialist is responsible for managing all aspects of accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, collections, and resolving any billing discrepancies.

The Specialist will work closely with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely billing, as well as handle customer inquiries regarding their accounts.


Qualifications:

  • Proven work experience as an A/R Specialist or in a similar role
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities effectively

Responsibilities:

  • Generate and send out invoices to customers
  • Follow up on outstanding payments and collections
  • Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy
  • Investigate and resolve any billing discrepancies or customer complaints
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address customer inquiries and concerns
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate customer records in the system
  • Assist with monthend closing and financial reporting as needed
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline accounts receivable processes
