Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team.
As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing grooming services to our furry clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
If you have a love for animals and possess the necessary skills, we would love to hear from you.Duties:
- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling pets' fur according to client preferences
- Trim pets' nails and clean their ears
- Assess pets' skin and coat condition and recommend appropriate treatments
- Handle pets with care and ensure their safety during grooming sessions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area
- Communicate with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and address any concerns or special requests
- Keep accurate records of each pet's grooming history
Skills:
- Strong dog handling skills, including the ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Experience in animal restraint is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with pet owners in a professional and friendly manner
- Proficient in animal handling techniques to ensure the safety of both the pet and the groomer
- Previous experience in pet grooming is highly desirable
- Ability to lift heavy objects such as large dogs or equipment
- Veterinary technician experience is a bonus
