Our PPD Laboratory Services team plays a vital role in improving patient health through the expertise of scientists, industry leaders, and therapeutic experts. Discover Impactful Work:

Performs tasks and training to acquire the necessary skills for sample and standard handling to support the lab. Assists the Sample Coordinator and carries out administrative duties in the Sample Management department. Follows SOPs, relevant client procedures, and fulfills lab requests with minimal direct supervision.

A day in the Life:

  • Executes various inventory tracking procedures and admin tasks to support lab operations.
  • Communicates task status to supervisors and/or lab staff.
  • Receives training on SOPs, regulatory guidelines, and storage protocols.
  • Assists in responding to environmental alarms and may participate in on-call duties.
  • Completes daily assignments accurately, promptly, and safely.

Keys to Success:

Education

  • High/Secondary school diploma or equivalent with a relevant academic/vocational qualification.
  • Certain technical roles may require certification.

Experience

  • Prior experience providing the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the position (roughly 0 to 1 year) or an equivalent mix of education, training, & experience.
  • Relevant experience indicates typical years of related experience necessary to perform job functions. It should not be the sole criterion for determining job classification or recruitment decisions.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Effective time management abilities.
  • Aptitude for maintaining precise tracking and documentation as per SOP.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capable of working in a cooperative team setting.
