Aircraft Mechanic Helper (Wash Rack) - Part-Time

Vision IT is currently seeking a part-time Aircraft Mechanic Helper (Wash Rack) for a project in North Carolina.

The Aircraft Mechanic Helper is in charge of washing the aircraft and its components when necessary using a high-pressure washing system.


Clearance Requirement:

Active Secret Security Clearance

Responsibilities Include:
- Install and remove protective covers.
- Move aircraft using towing equipment.
- Operate ground support equipment.
- Operate portable firefighting equipment.
- Assist in moving aircraft.
- Prepare aircraft for washing.
- Wash and rinse the external surfaces.
- Utilize and maintain high-pressure wash systems.
- Perform pre/post wash aircraft lubrication.
- Follow safety regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Active Secret Security Clearance
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Physical abilities such as climbing, bending, lifting up to 40 pounds, etc.
- Close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception necessary.
- Hearing within normal range.
- Valid driver's license required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of operational safety requirements.
- Ability to understand instructions on aircraft cleaning equipment.

PHYSICAL WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
- Use of respirator and other safety equipment required.
- Exposure to noise levels and various materials.
- Operation of aircraft ground servicing equipment.
- Maintenance of aircraft structures and components.
