Caregiver Responsibilities and Duties

As a caregiver, you'll assist clients with vital daily activities and personal care tasks such as:
  • Assisting with mobility
  • Housekeeping
  • Meal preparation
  • Accompanying on errands or appointments
  • Personal hygiene assistance
  • Medication reminders
  • Help with range of motion exercises
  • Dementia care
  • Providing companionship
Caregiver Qualifications and Skills:
  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs without assistance
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking, understanding)
  • Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
  • Successful background check
  • Preferably CNA license, Home Health Aide, or Personal Care Aide certification
