The Enterprise Architecture Team within the pre-sales organization focuses on establishing credibility and trust with the technical leaders of major customers. They craft cross-functional strategies and solutions. With a blend of technical expertise, real-world wisdom, robust executive engagement skills, and an inspiring mindset, the team aids customers in recognizing the possibilities of ServiceNow's platform of platforms vision. Serving as technical leads for customers' most intricate solutions ensures that they can reap the intended benefits. By applying best practices and adhering to industry standards, they cultivate customer trust and design top-notch solutions.

Collaborating with customers, partners, and the broader ServiceNow sales squad, the ideal candidate should develop and present high-level architectures and strategies, both in written and verbal formats, targeting audiences including CIOs/CTOs.

The Enterprise Architect plays a pivotal role in articulating the advantages of ServiceNow's foundation on a unified cloud platform with a single user interface, code base, and data model. Moreover, they lead and engage in conducting workshops, presenting best practices, and delivering educational sessions to current customers and partners.


What you'll be doing in this role:
  • Engaging with customer executives to pinpoint pain points and possibilities for delivering value, and translating them into solutions using ServiceNow.
  • Working with a diverse range of customers, colleagues, and partners to demonstrate the capabilities of the Now platform and future work prospects.
  • Leading architecture and design sessions to exhibit how ServiceNow caters to the needs of strategic customers across various domains.
  • Understanding the customer's business strategy and showcasing how ServiceNow can empower and add value to their organization, seamlessly integrating into their existing and forthcoming technology landscape.
  • Operating at different levels within a customer account and nurturing these relationships throughout their customer journey.
  • Providing innovative thought leadership, collaborating with internal ServiceNow units, and contributing to the establishment of best practices, white papers, workshops, etc.

Qualifications:

  • An innate ability to comprehend and prioritize tasks, willing to take calculated risks when required, and invest effort in the right areas.
  • Readiness to actively engage with customers, colleagues, and partners to swiftly and efficiently accomplish tasks.
  • Proven experience in influencing technology leaders in sales roles, fostering change in pre-sales, customer, or delivery-focused positions.
  • Proficiency in utilizing Human-Centered Design techniques, envisioning the customer's current status and future aspirations.
  • Expertise in designing, implementing, and managing sophisticated architectures within an application domain, and integrating multiple systems or platforms.
  • Familiarity with prevalent Enterprise and Industry Architecture frameworks like TOGAF, Zachman, IT4IT, BIAN, TMForum, among others.
  • A solid understanding of architectural principles for cloud-based platforms, encompassing SaaS, PaaS, multi-tenancy, and automation.
  • Experience and knowledge of multiple technical domains such as application, data, DevOps, AI/ML, big data, mobility, analytics, etc.
  • A natural curiosity and passion for exploring current and emerging technologies to devise innovative solutions.
  • Adept at presenting architecture concepts, designs, and objectives to technology leaders and partners.
