Summary:
In this exciting opportunity at Northern Light Mercy Hospital, you will work as a CT Technologist under the supervision of the CT Supervisor, where you will perform CT Scan examinations using diagnostic roentgen rays on adolescent through adult patients. You will adhere to established performance standards for the job, ensuring proper handling of confidential information in compliance with hospital policies, HIPAA requirements, and ethical standards, and report security events promptly. Your role will also involve participating in patient safety initiatives aligned with the organization's Mission and Values.

Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrates technical mastery to operate all equipment and perform exams for all ages.
  • Participates in QA program and meets department standards.
  • Works with and guides student technologists positively.
  • Completes work efficiently while upholding safety, quality, and quantity standards.
  • Maintains documentation, coordinates resources for procedures, and continually enhances exam processes.
  • Builds and maintains positive relationships with managers, co-workers, and patients.
  • Ensures safety compliance, practices appropriate radiation safety, and instructs others in safety practices.
  • Explains procedures to patients, correlates history to exams, and ensures positive outcomes based on patient's condition.
  • Maintains equipment, supplies, and room conditions, and provides care within budget constraints.

Other Information:
  • Licensed as a Radiologic Technologist is required.

Education:
  • Required Bachelor's Degree

Working Conditions:
  • Potential exposure to different situations including abusive individuals, diseases, hazardous materials, uncomfortable noise levels, noxious odors, extreme temperatures.
  • Job involves working with computers, lifting weights, prolonged sitting among other activities.
