Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage and hold accountable the production, materials handling and purchasing teams.
  • Serve as a member of the Tag Swag Leadership Team and actively contribute to shaping the strategic direction of the organizations future.
  • Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency, quality, cost effectiveness, and timeliness of orders.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to increase productivity and meet production targets.
  • Establish and monitor performance metrics for production and materials handling operations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage inventory and supplies to ensure on time orders and prevent overstocking or shortages.
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized warehouse environment.
  • Act as the primary logistical contact for enterprise-level clients, evaluating their logistical needs for new programs and implementing process to address those needs effectively.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives, such as lean manufacturing or six sigma, to minimize waste and enhance production processes.
  • Lead research and development initiatives.
  • Lead the adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies, such as automation and robotics, to improve efficiency and reduce manual labor costs.
  • Plan, implement, and monitor the operations budget to achieve financial objectives.
  • Foster a culture of safety and compliance by ensuring all manufacturing activities adhere to legal regulations and industry standards.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development.
  • Adhere to the companys policies and standards, and ensure that laws and regulations are being followed.
  • Work closely with Human Resources to lead the team reflecting our company values and to establish and maintain a trusting and productive environment.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required, preferably in business, finance or related field.
  • Several years of experience in a managerial role within a production or supply chain environment.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in both English and Spanish is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent problem solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are a must, as well as willingness to accept and task ownership of new responsibilities in a fast-growing environment.
  • Ability to work in a hot or cold environment
  • Willingness to operate warehouse equipment
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
