At Raytheon, we are looking for a Principal FRACAS Engineer to join our teams in Huntsville, AL, McKinney, TX or Tucson, AZ. As a Lead FRACAS Engineer, you will play a key role in investigating and addressing failures in communication systems to ensure our products are Safe, Reliable, and Maintainable.
Responsibilities:
- Lead investigations and root cause analysis on design, production, and field failures
- Implement corrective actions to prevent future failures
- Maintain FRACAS database, monitor investigations, and provide reports
- Present technical data to management and customers
- Participate in proposal writing and bid submissions
- Mentor junior engineers
- Obtain and maintain Special Access Program clearance
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM), with minimum 8 years of relevant experience. Experience in Reliability Engineering and leadership roles. Must be able to obtain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience with statistical analysis. Self-motivated with problem-solving abilities in fast-paced environments. Electrical Engineering background and Active DoD Secret Clearance.
