We are currently seeking Retro Fitness General Managers to elevate the skills of our Retro Fitness franchise by conducting training initiatives that will enhance club performance aligning with the company's brand and core values.


As a General Manager, you will play a key role in boosting sales across all departments and achieving company objectives.


The General Manager will have the authority to make significant decisions independently within the Retro Fitness Outlet.


You will become fully immersed in our Retro Operations culture to grasp Retro's strengths. "Our facility is focused on delivering results and offers a variety of membership options tailored to individual fitness goals." This is a Full-Time position complying with all State and Federal requirements and regulations.



  • Experience in all facets of membership sales.
  • Strong background in providing exceptional customer service to diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in hiring, training, managing, and motivating employees.
  • Proven track record in training, coaching, and mentoring employees.
  • Excellent decision-making and organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate information to various audience sizes.
  • Proficient with computers; MS Office/Office 365 skills are a plus.


The work environment may vary from indoors at a Retro Fitness Outlet to outdoor field prospecting, depending on schedules.


Direct reporting in this role supervises the below positions in this order:

  • Retro Fitness Owners of this location


Managing responsibilities include overseeing the following positions in the specified order:

  • Retro Fitness Front End Manager
  • Retro Fitness Head Coach

  • Drive all Retro Fitness Membership Sales.
  • Monitor program revenue and expense goals and support company programs to generate new sales leads for increased membership growth.
  • Maintain high levels of customer service.
  • Enhance member retention through superior customer service, cleanliness, diverse programs, and responsiveness to feedback.
  • Recruit, train, motivate, lead, coach, and assess all staff.
  • Allocate hours for scheduling staff for Front Desk, Child Sitting, Maintenance, Trainers, and Group Instructors.
  • Stay informed about key competitors.
  • Ensure club participation in local events.
  • Manage all club tours with potential members.
  • Supervise internal marketing strategies and fitness program development.
  • Oversee Club email system and act as a liaison between Owners, Head Coach, and Front End Manager.
  • Manage sign-up systems, promotions, and events.
  • Set daily goals for profit centers.
  • Act as a link between owners, Assistant Manager, and manage General Operations and Personal Training Operations.
