Overview:

TRC is seeking a Laboratory Analyst to support our Building Science and Industrial Hygiene practice in our Windsor, CT office.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all phases of prepping and analysis of building materials for asbestos by Polarized Light Microscopy.
• Analysis of radon samples and preparation of subsequent reports.
• Support of the Air Measurement Group by preparing chemical solutions and analyzing particulate samples.
• Calculate, check, and report data in accordance with applicable SOP's.
• QA/QC Analysis.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of safe laboratory practices, including the proper procedures in handling chemicals and unknown environmental samples.
• Strong oral/written communication and organizational skills.
• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Geology, or related fields.
• 1-5 years of lab analysis experience with microscopy required.

Compensation:

In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation:

Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program, which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators that vary by year and employee.
