Hiring: Part-Time

  • Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday Hours

Experience: Teaching, Camp Counselor, or Personal Aid background is highly valued

Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning, developing, and organizing residence activities
  • Generate ideas to enhance the Activities Program
  • Maintain a warm relationship with residents and families
  • Help coordinate transportation for community activities
  • Support Volunteer Programs
  • Assist residents with store operations
  • Maintain department supplies
  • Escort residents to various activities
  • Contribute to newsletter and calendar updates
  • Participate in training sessions and orientation
  • Provide transportation assistance as necessary
  • Work independently and manage dual tasks

Qualifications

Job Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to develop and implement activities, creativity, effective communication, and physical agility

Education: High school diploma or GED preferred

Experience: Previous recreational therapy experience preferred

Gerontology experience preferred

Certificates/Licenses: Valid driver's license with a clean record required

Physical Demands: Dexterity, visual and auditory acuity, lifting capabilities, and physical agility as needed
