***PASS/FAIL TEST AT ORIENTATION FOR TELE TEST AND MEDICATION TEST*** STUDY GUIDE IS AVAILABLE UNDER FACILITY FILES COVID vaccine required - Medical exemption acceptable Flu vaccine required - medical exemptions are acceptable 12H Night shift, 7p-7a, weekend and holiday rotation.
This position supports 2 North, one of our Medical Surgical units. This position is 36 hours per week (3 12-hour shifts), rotating shifts.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
May see patients for: Neurological, Orthopedic, Respiratory, Renal, Cardiac.
The nature of the tasks/responsibilities required of employees in this position will likely expose them to blood and body fluids.
Employees will be oriented to and required to understand and follow the standard precautions for infection control.
A summary list of tasks and procedures that may cause exposure to blood and body fluids is listed in the attached Physical Abilities Job Description. Also identified is the protective gear that is available.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Min Education: Equivalent to a graduate of an accredited school of nursing,
Min Experience: Recent acute Medical Surgical with Telemetry nursing experience required - 2+ years required.
License/Registration:
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing.
Skills/Certification:
CPR, ACLS Epic experience preferred, EMR experience required Uses meditech - transitioning in October to Epic
NO local travelers will be accepted (cannot reside within 50 mi from the facility) Orientation is 06/25 NM to interview and offer Please provide dates and times available for interview at time of submission
