Roseburg is located on Interstate 5 in Southern Oregon's scenic Douglas County. The community is nestled in a lush forested region known as the 100 Valleys of the Umpqua.

Responsibilities
As a Nurse Educator you will be responsible for coordination and implementation of staff training and education.

Essential Duties:

  • Identifies, plans, presents and supports mandatory and continuing eduation needs.
  • Provides educational programs to ensure efficient department function, staff grwoth and patient/staff safety.
  • Assists with conceptualization, development and implementation of high fidelity medial simulation scenarios and courses.
  • Interacts with health care providers to identify and meet educational needs.

Qualifications

License/Certifications:

  • State of Oregon RN License
  • American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Providers
  • ACLS
  • BLS Instructor within 3 months of hire
  • ACLS
Instructor within 3 months of hire

  • ACLS
, TNCC, PALS Instructor preferred

Experience:

  • 3 years recent direct patient care nursing experience in a hospital or acute care facility
  • 1 year nursing experience in a long-term care famility preferred
  • High fidelity medical simulation experience preferred
  • Previous teaching experience preferred

Education:

  • Associates Degree in Nursing
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

Pay Range
$ $56.74 /hour
