Through a creative campaign structure connecting grassroots organizing in over 200 cities and 18 states with efforts to change federal policies, Faith in Action is a key player in supporting citizenship for 11 million immigrants, ending mass incarceration, and ensuring everyone benefits from health reform.General Job Description The Campaign Manager, FFL at Faith In Action (FIA) is crucial for advancing FIA's Faith for Liberation initiatives. This position leads FIA's immigrant rights program, aiming to achieve national relief for the 11+ million undocumented immigrants in the US. The Campaign Manager oversees strategy and tactics in collaboration with Faith for Liberation team, leaders, clergy, and allies.Duties & Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of FFL's field campaigns including coordination, strategy development, outreach, and evaluation.
  • Develop and implement program strategies and tactics across Faith in Action network staff, leaders, and clergy.
  • Expand FFL's reach by enhancing campaign outreach, forming cohesive field strategies with affiliate organizations, and supporting digital strategy development.
  • Manage relationships with national partners focusing on immigration, enforcement, and legal system reforms.
  • Promote the involvement of directly affected individuals and families in the network and movement.
  • Connect with groups working on decarceration and police reform.
  • Enhance a professional development program for FFL organizers in affiliate organizations.
  • Lead an organizing steering committee to accomplish program objectives.
  • Allocate resources based on strategic priorities and geographic targets.
  • Coordinate national messaging and communications for FFL.
  • Establish and maintain relationships within the Faith in Action network with federation directors, clergy, and community leaders involved in immigration work.
  • Cultivate partnerships with external organizations including unions, faith-based groups, and elected officials.
  • Organize trainings, workshops, and presentations, gather information from reliable sources and allies.
  • Monitor and report program outcomes to ensure goals are met.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
Education & Training
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in community organizing, social justice, or religious studies.
  • 5-7 years of experience in community organizing, faith-based advocacy, or related fields, preferably in social justice.
  • Deep knowledge of faith-based community engagement and social justice frameworks.
  • Ability to mobilize diverse groups, build coalitions, and lead community initiatives.
  • Effective communication and public speaking skills.
  • Proficiency in organizing events, campaigns, and advocacy for social change.
  • Spanish proficiency is a plus.
  • Commitment to FIA's mission and values of equity, diversity, and inclusion.
