In this role, you will be reporting to the Sr. Team Leader, and will be responsible for performing all machining operations as part of the production process in an assigned cell.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Independently set up, adjust, troubleshoot, and operate centerless or center grinding machines or honing machines on a diversified line of work to meet close and exacting tolerances and finish specifications requiring an intermediate level of skill
• Setup understanding and familiarity with manufacturing order of operations involving various combinations of operations
• Perform tasks based on operation sheets and machine setup instructions
• Proficiency in work-holding and work support methods, stone selection, wheel speed, wheel dressing, and machine adjustments

Qualifications:

Education:

• High school diploma or GED

Experience:

• Minimum of 4 years of manufacturing experience as a grinding operator or 1 year of CNC machining experience

Physical Demands:

• Continual standing
• Frequent mental and visual attention
• Frequent bending and twisting
• Frequent grasping items and tools
• Occasional lifting and moving materials up to 50 lbs. (15-40%)

Other:

• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed to meet customer demands
