Responsibilities- Acting as an expert in Psychiatric care, providing a wide range of treatment services
- Collaborating with medical professionals to deliver comprehensive care
- Participating in professional staff meetings, committees, and Quality Assurance programs
- Developing guidelines and training for medical staff
- Contributing to the Psychiatry Residency Program
- Teaching, supervising, and mentoring residents
- Completion of a background investigation
- Maintenance of eligibility for a Secret security clearance
- Consent for seasonal influenza vaccinations
- Completion of pre-employment screening and random drug testing
- Physicians should have current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Fulfillment of credentialing requirements
Requirements for Physician (Psychiatry):
Degree: Doctor of Medicine or equivalent from an accredited institution in the US or Canada
Licensure: Active license as a Physician
Graduate Training: Completion of supervised experience in a clinical setting
Residency Training: Successfully completed accredited residency training in Psychiatry
Board Certification in Psychiatry
