Job Summary

As a Business Systems Analyst, you'll collaborate with stakeholders to define system scopes and objectives for new or improved information systems. You'll troubleshoot issues, enhance system performance, and stay updated with industry trends. Your role extends beyond technical aspects—you'll bring a customer service voice, articulate problems being solved, and approve stories aligned with value. Additionally, you'll inform the product roadmap, ensuring the delivery and maximization of product value. As a mentor, you'll guide junior team members and foster best practices.

Essential Functions

Define system scopes and objectives for new or improved information systems. Collaborate with users to define needs and document requirements. Troubleshoot issues with existing systems and enhance performance. Stay updated with business or clinical requirements and anticipate industry trends. Mentor junior team members and demonstrate excellent customer service. Facilitate iteration planning alongside the Product Owner. Own team backlogs, scope, quality, and prioritization. Bring a customer service voice and articulate the problem being solved. Approve stories aligned with value and articulate customer and business outcomes. Inform the organization's product roadmap. Be accountable for delivering and maximizing product value. Communicate product vision and goals to the team. Develop the team's vision and ensure measurement instrumentation is in place.

Qualifications

Required bachelor's degree or equivalent Preferred master's degree or equivalent 5 years of relevant experience in the field Required 7 years of relevant experience including experience formulating and defining systems scopes and objectives Preferred Experience in systems development lifecycle including, requirements gathering, and design Preferred Participant in multiple phases of an integrated system implementation Preferred Background in health care, sciences or information systems Preferred
