Lincoln Electric Automation specializes in laser welding, robotic welding, fixturing, press automation, and tube bending/fabricating systems. They are a market leader looking to expand the team in Texas.

Primary Function

  • Provide field service and support including troubleshooting, repair, installation, maintenance, and training on industrial automation equipment.
  • Perform service & support activities both on-site at customer facilities and in-house at company locations.

Responsibilities

  • Offer technical support, solve problems, conduct testing, training, installs, and maintenance.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service experiences consistently.
  • Work individually or as part of a team in various industrial troubleshooting tasks.
  • Take initiative to meet project timelines and budgets.
  • Travel as needed to complete projects successfully.
  • Support all aspects of equipment installation.
  • Complete documentation on time and identify future opportunities with customers.
  • Assist in activities that support ongoing strategies.

Background Experience

  • Preferred experience in machine programming (PLC/HMI), safety systems, networks, robotic processes, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
  • Familiarity with in-field installation, system maintenance, electrical/mechanical prints, and robot programming.
  • Basic knowledge of robotic processes such as GMAW or Plasma cutting.
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting skills and positive customer feedback record.

Education/Training/Experience

  • Minimum: High school diploma or GED (technical/vocational school preferred).
  • Preferred: Associates degree in electrical, mechanical, mechatronics, or robotics.
  • 4+ years of electrical troubleshooting and 5+ years of field service experience.

Physical Demands

Occasional standing, walking, sitting, computer work, use of hands, reaching, talking, and hearing. Vision abilities include close/distance/color/peripheral vision and depth perception.

Work Environment

Work inside manufacturing facilities with moderate noise levels. Proper PPE required at all times.
