Job Title: Medical Biller and CoderDescription

We are looking for a detail-oriented Medical Biller and Coder to join our Revenue Cycle Team at Circle Medical Technologies. This role offers the flexibility of remote work and is open in various US locations including Florida, Texas, and Arizona.

What You'll Do
  • Review patient claims for accuracy and completeness, ensuring all necessary information is included
  • Appeal medical insurance claim denials promptly
  • Ensure adherence to coding guidelines and procedures
  • Address patient inquiries regarding coverage denials and coding reviews
  • Collaborate with clinical leadership and billing partners on coding-related matters

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • Strong time management skills with a track record of meeting deadlines
  • Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 codes
  • Capability to identify coding patterns and potential risks
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, or similar software
Education & Experience
  • Preferably an Associate degree in business, finance, or health administration
  • Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification required
  • 2+ years of experience in a primary care clinic setting (preferred)
  • Background in mental/behavioral health would be advantageous

  • Minimum of two years in roles related to accounts receivable billing, insurance, or customer service in a medical environment
Compensation

Circle Medical values transparency and offers competitive salaries based on performance levels, with opportunities to exchange cash for stock. This full-time position has an hourly rate ranging from $23 to $27, along with generous vacation time and comprehensive medical/dental benefits. Additional benefits include accrued vacation eligibility, paid holidays, education reimbursement, and various insurance options.
