Paraprofessional - Lake Joy Primary

• Conduct small group or individual classroom activities following lesson plans developed by the teacher.
• Assist with daily routine tasks like distributing supplies, keeping attendance records, and grading quizzes.
• Support student supervision and provide one-on-one assistance as directed by the teacher.
• Aid in student assessment, grading, and data collection on progress.
• Assist in preparing instructional materials and maintaining classroom order.
• Help with equipment management and classroom housekeeping.
• Accompany class on field trips and assist with various tasks as needed.
• Participate in training programs to enhance skills.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

• Education and/or Experience: Compliance with educational requirements.
• Certificate or License Required: Certification mandated by the Professional Standards Commission.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in reading, writing, and oral communication.
• Mathematical Skills: Ability in basic math operations and data interpretation.
• Reasoning Ability: Capability to follow instructions and address simple problems.
• Technical Ability: Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
• Customer Service Skills: Effective interaction with various stakeholders.

The role involves walking, standing, lifting, crouching, and kneeling. Employee should be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
