Job Title: Market Access Insights Specialist

Purpose:
The Market Access Insights (MAI) team at AbbVie plays a crucial role in shaping market access strategies for the company's domestic brands. As part of this dynamic team, you will be involved in conducting primary and secondary market research to identify opportunities and threats, influence the development of market access strategies, and ensure alignment with commercial goals.
Responsibilities:
- Execute primary and secondary market research activities to provide valuable insights for brand's market access strategies.
- Collaborate with commercial leaders to develop innovative Pricing and Contracting strategies.
- Deliver customer insights through market research, competitive simulation, and customer modeling.
- Build relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of insights.
- Communicate market access research findings effectively to leadership.
- Conduct ad-hoc business analysis projects to identify key business drivers.
- Lead quantitative projects to uncover valuable insights through data analysis.
Key areas of functional scope include:
- Executing research across various payer channels and conveying narratives that impact stakeholder negotiations.
- Providing insights on gross/net pricing, contracting strategy, and value proposition development.
- Demonstrating expertise in primary/secondary research methodologies and synthesizing insights.
- Communicating market access research insights to leadership effectively.
- Developing unit and regional analyses for conveying results and recommendations.
- Leading complex quantitative projects to provide unique insights.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 3 years of professional experience.
- 2 years of market research experience.
- Prior healthcare/pharmaceutical experience preferred.
- Strong storytelling skills and ability to communicate complex information concisely.
