We are looking for a top-notch Supply Chain Manager to join our team.

The ideal candidate will serve as the expert Supply Chain/Logistics management specialist concerned with directing, developing, and performing logistics management operations.

The candidate applies mastery knowledge of the concepts, principles and best practices. Exercise discretionary initiative, creativity and mature technical judgment in carrying out assigned responsibilities. This is an On-Site position.

Responsibilities:


Coordinates Supply Chain and/or input to evaluation plans and reports, and develops Supply Chain requirementsAssists in the development of cost estimates, cost evaluations, programmatic evaluations, risks management planning, development of program management requirements, and work statementsOversees program reviews evaluating cost, schedule, and performance of industry partner executionReviews and evaluates the inherent logistics requirements supportability of assigned systems providing comments on requirement documents, test reports, and other key acquisition documentsUtilizes logistics models to evaluate system suitabilityCoordinates integration efforts with other contracting personnel and operations to assure efforts are on coordinated and to identify and resolve problemsResponsible for the management of all warehouse and logistics processes to include shipping, receiving, warehouse, and issuing of materials according to program policies and proceduresCoordinates and synchronizes program objectives and execution plans with required staff.

Updates PM on all supply chain issues and support long-range program planning for assigned projects.
Maintains automated file system and databases.
Serves as technical advisor on logistics within the organization.
Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services.
Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle.
Keep track of delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
Resolve any arising problems or complaints.
Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets.
Ensure compliance with all regulations governing transportation of goods. Utilizing analytics to monitor and measure performance.
Ability to mentor, train and develop team members.

Education/Experience Required:


BS in Business Administration, Supply Chain or Logistics or similar field or related field preferred or equivalent experience with more progressively challenging work requirements.5-7 years of proven working experience as Supply Chain Manager.

Excellent computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases.
Excellent ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization.
