We are currently looking for a qualified CT/X-Ray Technician for our client based in Salida, CO. If you or someone you know might be interested in this role, please read on for more details.

  • Position Details:
  • CT/X-Ray Technician - Salida, CO
  • Location: Salida, CO (Onsite)
  • Project Duration: 3 Months
  • Compensation: $63 per hour on W2 with limited benefits

Overview: Our client's mission is to improve community health by delivering exceptional personalized care. They aim to become the preferred healthcare provider in the region as a top-notch rural medical organization.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care during radiographic and CT procedures while considering special patient needs like pregnancy, trauma, and elderly patients.

For Radiographic Exams:

  • Ensure quality exams by selecting appropriate voltage, current, and exposure time.
  • Position patients accurately for optimal views as requested by the physician.
  • Shield appropriately to minimize radiation exposure.

For CT Exams:

  • Follow proper protocol as per the ordering physician and the radiologist.
  • Maintain technique according to ALARA for both adult and pediatric patients.
  • Position patients correctly for optimal imaging.

For MR Exams:

  • Adhere to protocol by ordering physician and radiologist.
  • Use MRI safety questionnaire and position patients for best images.
  • Transport patients and assist them as needed.
  • Ensure all necessary consent forms are completed before exams.
