Economy and Policy, to drive compelling advocacy and policy content for a mission-driven member organization focused on alleviating financial inequality for all Americans.

A mission-driven, hard-working, and super-scrappy organization is searching for a Lead Content Strategist, U.S. Economy and Policy to develop and deliver content across digital channels.

This is a direct-response-heavy role, as the team has engaged primarily via SMS to grow their audience to over 2 million people.

However, as they pour resources into email, web, social media, and 1-to-1 outreach, the Content Strategy Lead in this vertical will be charged with leading legislative advocacy and member engagement across those channels.

Working closely with partners and with an eye towards growth, data and analytics, political advocacy, education, and organizing, this role is about owning advocacy content across digital channels to engage and mobilize audiences.

How you'll know if you're a fit...
You have 5-7 years of experience writing and executing content across SMS, email, web, and social media. You love the idea of taking charge of content in the acquisition, legislative advocacy, and partnerships verticals.

You are extremely collaborative, and while you are able to direct and manage, you're also willing to write a lot of the political content.

You have previous policy and finance experience while also being comfortable writing for the average American audience.

You know how to deliver the right type of content across SMS, email, web, and social media to drive organic growth through content with an eye towards offering products and information to users.

You possess a keen attention to detail while also understanding and driving big-picture strategy.

Ultimately, you will own the process of building and executing compelling and engaging content to drive policy and advocacy work that helps members live more financially secure lives.
