POSITION SUMMARY:

The Events Sales Manager will lead the establishment and management of corporate and event partnerships, responsible for securing sponsorships and revenue generation.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Formulating and implementing effective sales strategies for event-based sponsorships
  • Securing sponsorships meeting minimum profit margins
  • Developing yearly sales strategies to exceed revenue targets
  • Managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting to contract closure
  • Optimizing event profitability through strategic pricing models
  • Accountable for events revenue goals
  • Handling sales document processes
  • Utilizing CRM platforms for managing opportunities and client relationships
  • Prospecting new clients and maintaining existing relationships
  • Implementing referral programs and expanding sales networks
  • Managing a portfolio including new business, renewals, and growth
  • Establishing performance metrics and initiatives for business strategy
  • Motivating stakeholders to drive business growth and revenue
  • Additional duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or Sports Management
  • Over 5 years of executive-level event/hospitality sales experience
  • Demonstrated track record in revenue generation and sponsor activation
  • Self-driven team player with interpersonal and client relationship skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Quick learner of new software platforms

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Periodic office noise
  • Ability to lift 20 lbs.
  • Willingness to travel at short notice (up to 75%)
