Primary Function:
To teach students essential knowledge and life skills related to health and physical education.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan and prepare educational programs according to the curriculum.
• Teach courses to students, assess their progress, and report on their development.
• Utilize various instructional techniques, tools, and materials to enhance learning.
• Create a positive and engaging learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, students, and parents to address student needs.
• Support the district's technology integration and instructional delivery.
• Recommend educational materials and equipment for purchase.
• Maintain professional growth through workshops and seminars.
• Direct paraprofessionals and perform other assigned duties.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid Pennsylvania Certification
• Knowledge of current instructional practices and assessment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Background in educational technologies preferred
