Educational Background.

Bachelor's degree and/or relevant professional experience required.

Job Description.

Roles and Duties.

  • Proficient in interpreting electrical diagrams, showcasing expertise in symbols, components, and the overall flow of electrical systems in a simplified manner. This proficiency is vital for effective issue resolution, upkeep, and ensuring optimal operation of electrical systems.
  • Compile, assess, and submit commissioning records.
  • Create and oversee electrical commissioning strategies across various projects.
  • Familiarity with commercial medium voltage & low voltage systems.
  • Understanding of electrical testing protocols and anticipated outcomes.
  • Conduct load bank testing.
  • Execution of PQM Testing
  • Address commissioning-related challenges.
  • Supervise live energization single-line diagrams.
  • Engage with project stakeholders to review commissioning tasks, provide progress updates, and request sufficient commissioning time.
  • Participate in Factory Witness Testing of electrical apparatus like Switchboards, Transformers, Diesel Generators, and Uninterruptible Power Systems.
  • Perform risk evaluations for commissioning tasks – for both neighboring equipment in operation and upstream equipment that might be impacted by the commissioning operations.
  • Review project documentation (electrical drawings and submissions) to ascertain system performance expectations.
  • Schedule commissioning tasks to align with project timelines.
  • Develop and implement MOP (method of procedure) documents.
  • Additional duties and obligations as necessitated by project requirements.

Professional Background.

  • 0-5 years of involvement in the electrical construction or engineering sector.
  • Experience in communicating and collaborating with multiple parties having diverse roles.
  • Knowledge of electrical equipment control mechanisms.
