Major Areas of Responsibility:

The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Dental Care Delivery - Handling all aspects of general dentistry, performing oral exams, restorations, extractions, and prophylactic work, treating oral diseases, and collaborating with physicians. Assigning patients to educational programs and formulating treatment plans.
  • Patient Experience - Providing guidance on preventive dental care, discussing the causes and treatment of dental problems, and ensuring patient and personal safety during procedures.
  • Mentorship & Collaboration - Being willing to serve as volunteer faculty for renowned institutions, taking part in a cross-functional team of Dentists, and maintaining detailed clinical records.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Knowledge:

  • Understanding the information and techniques necessary for diagnosing and treating human injuries, diseases, and deformities. Good time management and evidence-based approaches to dental care. Knowledge of patient services principles and processes along with experience using Practice Management System software.

Abilities:

  • Demonstrating excellent patient communication skills, operating diverse dental equipment, recognizing issues, and coordinating precise movements. Proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not mandatory.

Experience and Certifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited dentistry school, possession of a valid D.D.S./D.M.D., at least one year of general dentistry experience, and administrative familiarity in a clinical setting. Holding a California State practice license, a DEA number, and cultural competency in diverse/low-income communities. Must maintain a current BLS/CPR Certificate within 30 days of employment.
