Job Summary:

As an Electrical Design Engineer in this role, you will leverage your experience in transformer and systems to troubleshoot and advance complex projects. This position involves a blend of research and development, customer service, and product support, focusing on problem-solving to enhance production methods and product quality. You will utilize your creativity and technical expertise to address intricate challenges through experimentation and testing, offering an opportunity to enhance your skills and achieve project objectives. Collaboration with a skilled team of engineers will be key to developing project goals and implementing strategies.



Your Tasks And Responsibilities:


  • Designing 3-phase power transformers with a capacity of 5000 KVA and above and voltage ratings.
  • Interpreting customer specifications to determine transformer requirements accurately.
  • Creating drawings and submittals for customers.
  • Providing techno-commercial solutions and responding to customer inquiries.
  • Developing manufacturing instructions and test protocols.
  • Reviewing factory test reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Electrical Machine Design/Power System or Physics with Electro Magnetism focus.
  • 5+ years of experience in designing power transformers.
  • Proficiency in engineering principles, strong mathematical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, think innovatively, and manage multiple projects efficiently.
  • Experience with standard office software.

Must Complete:

Job interview, drug screening, and background check.

Reside or plan to reside within a reasonable commuting distance.

Eligible to work in the United States.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Experience in power quality analysis and system design.
