Quality Inspector

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

The Quality Inspector will play a vital role in ensuring the adherence to our AS9100 quality standards throughout our production process.


Additional Responsibilities:

  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple inspection tasks and meet deadlines
  • Perform inspections of incoming materials, inprocess parts, and finished assemblies, weldments, and parts to verify conformance with supplied drawings
  • Utilize basic hand inspection tools to conduct inspections
  • Maintain accurate and organized inspection records
  • Work with the Quality team to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to address nonconformities.
  • Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) investigations and assist in implementing effective preventive measures.
  • Ensure compliance with AS9100D standards and actively contribute to maintaining and improving the quality management system (QMS).
  • Communicate effectively with production personnel, engineers, and project managers to address quality concerns and provide guidance on quality requirements.

Skills and Experience:

  • High's school diploma/ or equivalent
  • Min 2+ years of techncial experience
  • Minimum of 3 years in a quality inspection role
  • Strong work ethic is a must
  • Technical degree (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) or experience in a technical role is desired
  • Weld inspection experience is a strong plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, data entry, analysis, and report generation
  • Ability to qualify for a government clearance
  • Occasional travel may be required
