LPN/Nurse Extern

This purpose of this position is also to give nursing students some additional clinical experience to help develop the skills they will and have obtained in their nursing program, and to assist in the transition from student to Registered Nurse.
Must be flexible and willing to accept responsibility.Education:
Graduate of a School of Practical Nursing. Currently enrolled, in good standing, in an accredited R.N. program.
Experience:
Demonstrate an understanding of and an appreciation for the physical, social and psychological needs of pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
Licenses/Certificates:
Licensed as a LPN in the State of Illinois. Must have current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association upon hire. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) recommended.
