Stantec's Water Resource practice is looking for a motivated Civil Engineer-in-Training to join their team.

Your Role

An entry-level civil engineer will work on a variety of infrastructure projects, assisting senior engineers with tasks related to water, dam, power, and infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities will include conducting calculations, fieldwork, and supporting the civil team during the construction phase.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct basic calculations and other assigned duties under supervision.
  • Assist in preparing civil designs, drawings, and reports.
  • Support the civil team during construction.
Qualifications
  • Understanding of civil engineering concepts.
  • Ability to collaborate in a project team setting.
  • Basic experience with AutoCAD Civil3D and other relevant software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Passed the FE exam and be an EIT.
  • 0-5 years of experience.
  • Co-op/Internship experience is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
