Position Summary: The person hired will be in charge of providing a wide range of occupational therapy services, including assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions within an interdisciplinary environment. They should also show accountability and contribute to program development and productivity enhancement.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited four-year Bachelors' or Masters' program
- Current state licensure
- Current BLS Certification
Experience: Background in assisting disabled or injured individuals with rehabilitation.
Essential Functions:
- Communicate professionally with patients, families, and coworkers
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans
- Evaluate patient response to treatment
- Document patient care and progress
- Provide patient and family education
- Participate in continuing education activities
- Adhere to policies and guidelines
- Meet organizational productivity standards
