Job Description

Saint Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, is looking for a Nursing Assistant to join their team. This is a great opportunity for experienced Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), nursing assistants, patient care techs, or those interested in starting a career in patient care. Candidates without certification or relevant experience will receive 6 weeks of comprehensive on-the-job training. After training, the schedule will be part-time with flexible self-scheduling during day shifts. This role plays a crucial part in improving hospital efficiency and patient experience by providing personalized care in a positive environment. The team maintains low patient ratios and prioritizes respect and kindness towards patients and colleagues.

This position is Monday to Friday with daytime hours.

The Role:

  • Assist with patient care under the supervision of RNs or LPNs
  • Perform various direct and indirect patient care duties
  • Help with daily activities such as hygiene, feeding, mobility, and more
  • Proactively address patient and family needs
  • Adapt care to individual patient requirements
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team for optimal patient care

To succeed, strong communication and time management skills are essential. The ideal candidate is a team player with attention to detail and a desire to enhance their skills.
