Expected salary range of $127,800 to $142,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).


Responsibilities:

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION


The Senior Technical Sales -Analytics will be responsible for identifying and developing new relationships with decision makers of companies to drive sales of Constellations growing analytic based products including UBM, Carbon Accounting, Grid Beyond and other new commercial offerings developed through the Commercialization & Development (C&D) team as well as other functions within the company.


The primary area of responsibility for this role will be to partner with the commodity power and gas BDMs and develop strategies to execute transactions for Constellation's analytic products.

The individual will work with both direct and indirect customers as well as channel partners across Constellation's footprint.


This role will require working very closely with the C&D and other teams across various parts of the commercial business to jointly work on customer strategy including (1) prospecting, sharing customer and market learnings; (2) achieving support, alignment, and accountability across the business and (3) accelerating growth to scale the business.


PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES


Drive growth of Constellation's analytics product solutions by Identifying opportunities, building pipeline, and close deals to meet or exceed quota.

Technical sales support of BDM's in their pursuit of sales related to analytics based solutions.

Ability to understand customer business objectives and independently research their current and future goals using public and internal sources.

Aptitude to compile all the information to create customized strategies for the customer and prospects that drives a multi-year solution plan and lifetime customer value.


Collaborate and work closely with the C&D and other internal functions to brainstorm and discuss pipeline activity as well as pricing and execution strategy.

The role requires excellent teamwork and communication skills.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or higher

Minimum of 8 years of business related experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience in the energy markets and/or sustainability area

Exceptional organizational, written and oral communication skills with the ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed

Experience communicating with senior executives and other stakeholders that may have a diverse footprint and multiple decision makers

Strong analysis capabilities. Ability to mine for information from internal and public sources to put together complex proposals working with other functions including C&D

Strong team player with the ability to work closely with multi-functional teams

Knowledge of the energy industry customer and developing technology and sustainability trends

Proficiency with MS Office Suite and experience using databases

Travel as required for customer and business needs

In-person attendance for trainings, all-hands meetings, or other moments that matter

All candidates must have the ability to speak, read and write English

Qualifications:

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Technical, analytical, or business skills; Advanced degrees preferred

2 years of experience in selling sustainability solutions

Energy-related product management, commercialization, solution sales and in-depth knowledge of energy products and markets

Experience manager a small team of employees and/or contractors
