As a Camp Counselor, you will play a vital role in creating memorable experiences for campers while fostering personal growth and development.


Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and engage with campers in various recreational activities
  • Implement ageappropriate programs that promote teamwork, creativity, and skill development
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all campers at all times
  • Provide guidance and support to campers in resolving conflicts and building positive relationships
  • Assist in planning and organizing daily schedules and special events
  • Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and fellow staff members
  • Maintain a clean and organized camp environment

Experience:

  • Previous experience working with children in a camp setting or similar environment
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred
  • Experience in sports coaching, theater, special education, or childcare is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
  • Passion for working with children and helping them learn and grow

$ $16.00 per hour

  • Childcare: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification:

  • First Aid Certification (preferred)
  • CPR Certification (preferred)
