The Process Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining all manufacturing equipment. This position involves a wide range of responsibilities, such as troubleshooting, repairing, and ensuring the upkeep of production and facility equipment. Having experience with PLC, servos, conveyors, packaging equipment, blow mold, label applications, coding equipment, and bottling is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Thorough understanding and operational proficiency in injection molding machines, including startup, shutdown, and basic maintenance, as well as crane system according to safety and operational protocols.
  • Monitoring resin and colorant supply to ensure seamless equipment operation, verifying the correct product and materials are used as scheduled by the Production Scheduling team.
  • Quality control by overseeing production adherence to specifications and promptly reporting any issues to the Supervisor and Manager.
  • Tackling machine problems and profiling machines when necessary. Collaborating with Quality to address any production deviations.
  • Recording machine scrap, completing necessary tags and labels for scrap tracking, and conducting visual and technical tests on preforms to uphold Quality standards.
  • Immediate reporting of any non-compliant products to the Supervisor and proactive monitoring of support equipment for malfunctions.
  • Conducting regular equipment maintenance, maintaining a clean workspace, and adhering to safety protocols consistently.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Prior experience with injection processes.
  • Ability to adapt to a flexible work schedule.
  • Basic proficiency in reading, writing, and math.
  • Functional knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Preferred manufacturing experience in the beverage, food, or liquid consumer products sector.
