Job Description:


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and procure all necessary parts and supplies for specific job requirements
  • Handle inventory maintenance for standard items in the mechanical shop
  • Collaborate with the Quality manager to ensure accurate inspection reports
  • Responsible for job quoting to customers and sales engineers
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the Mechanical/Quality manager on challenges and incidents
  • Complete outgoing reports for plain/press roll and suction rolls
  • Execute additional tasks and projects as delegated by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5-8 years of experience in a manufacturing setting, ideally in the paper industry
  • Demonstrated supervisory and leadership skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Knowledge of mechanical and machine repairs is advantageous
  • Proficiency in using computers, particularly Excel and Word
  • Experience with Solidworks for creating detailed drawings is a bonus
