Overview:
This Senior Storekeeper role in the Corrections Construction Unit involves managing inventory, control of construction tools, keys, equipment, and materials. You will be based at the Corrections Construction office in Powhatan, Virginia.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain inventory control procedures
- Safeguard the tool investment by ensuring tools are accounted for and in good repair
- Coordinate tool room activities

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs
- Knowledge of warehouse inventory control
- Familiarity with construction and maintenance tools
- Experience in purchasing and requisitioning
- Strong computer skills and ability to complete Web-based training
- Ability to make independent decisions
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment
- Ability to lift items up to 75lbs
- Willingness to work in various environments
- Reliable attendance and the ability to work early hours
- Comfort working in an environment with daily inmate presence

Additional Considerations:
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A endorsement
- Experience in inventory control and distribution
- Proficiency with computer databases and inventory systems
- Forklift operator certification
