You Will:

  • Manage a total spend of $1525M
  • Prepare presentations that follow a logical reasoned, data supported approach
  • Meet annual inventory reduction objectives
  • Negotiate supply agreements to gain improvements in delivery, quality, order lead time
  • Purchase both raw material and component commodities
  • Schedule "make" components
  • Executes E & O dispositioning

You Have:

  • Bachelors degree in a related field is required. 2+ years in a manufacturing environment. Preference with company that has demonstrated "best practices" in supply management.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform data analysis
  • Ability to understand design prints/ drawings and work with engineering on engineering changes/ deviations APICS and/or Purchasing certifications.
  • Solid understand Lean Supply chain systems Achieves annual inventory reduction objectives.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing, finance, marketing, and quality to be able to understand the impact of sourcing decisions on the overall business success.
  • Solid understanding of blueprints and technical specifications.
